Elm XI.

With the sun.

Looking back over our shoulders from where we came, Elm appears tiny below the sweep of the mountains. It was hard to believe we were there just a couple hours previous.

Now as I look at this image and think back on the hike, some encouraging words come to mind.

"Take the time occasionally to look back at where you came from and appreciate just how far you've come."

Sometimes it's far too easy for us to overlook our accomplishments.

Committed to Ilford HP5+ using a Hasselblad X-pan and 45 mm lens and red filter. Developed with Ars-Imago FD as standard and scanned using an Epson V850 using Silverfast. Positive conversion and levels done with Negative Lab Pro.
