Centerboard schooner Tidal Wave (1880s)

Commodore William Voorhis' (1819 -1890) centerboard schooner Tidal Wave (Abraham A. Schank design, 1870), a defender in the 1870 Queen's Cup (Later America's Cup) race. My restoration and digital hand colorization of a Detroit Publishing Co. image in the Library of Congress archive. The date is given as 1880 - 1899. My estimate is early 1880s.
