Three men from Ostrobothnia (Finland) 1915

In 1915 Erik Hägglund took this portrait of three Ostrobothnian (Finland) men. The two younger ones proudly wear their trendy new "American" hats.

(It is quite possible that the hats were sent as gifts from their relatives or friends, who had emigrated from Ostrobothnia to the US. A great number of people from this region emigrated, particularly during the late 1800s.)
