Fun with handcards
I decided to deconstruct some of my Hello Yarn Loch fiber (Jan 2010 club) to make a gradient yarn. So I took it apart and handcarded it into rolags. Now I'm going to pull them into little roving nests and spin them as a fine singles.
One of the things one of my instructors told us about color blending was to stand up high and look down at the gradient, to see if anything looked amiss. And/or taking a photo. Now that I do, I see one spot that definitely needs to be rearranged. They are in the correct order of carding though. Neat.
