Chipped The Magnets On the Rotor

The windmill turned fine with the new blades for a while, then it stopped turning. When I took it down, I could tell that the front bearing was out. I saw three small screws stuck to the magnets on the front side and 1 small ball and small flat pieces from the bearing. There was also a triangle object rattling around on the shaft as there was on the back but I could not see any screws on the magnets on the backside. I figured the triangle parts were to hold the bearing in. I got it apart and found that it had been grinding up metal parts when it was not made to do such things. As far as I could tell All 3 wires coming out it the stator are shorted out to the core. To be expected the magnets have a few chips. The shock of the wide blades hitting the pole hard enough to bend two of them as bad as they are bent must have about done in the bearing. The PMG sure never lasted long after the hit. I like the new blades as they are not so wide and the hub is a full circle so it won’t bend as easily
