After much consideration, I have mounted a 1:5 gear reduction to measure the rpm using frame by frame analysis. The pneumatic T-pieces and pistons have been bored out further still to 3/32 inches ~2.3mm. Playing with the timing as well, as I recently learned that advancing the timing as far as it will go is not the best. This is all good for 1800rpm.
