Some *cough*blurry*ahem* photos of my Rx3 with the new rims, and some more meaningful results.
As far as clutch power is concerned, they stuck fine to the technic axle I first tried them on. But after a few uses on the car, the wheels have already become woefully loose and fall off the car at the slightest provocation. I'm hoping that a light coat of paint will help. I'm also hoping it will smooth of the mildly sandy surface, which is constantly getting dust on my tires.
Additionally, I had remarked that Shapeways rounded off my measurements. This turned out not to be the case and I was simply mistaken. No rounding has occurred, the wheels were the correct 20mm width just like the stock Lego ones. Shapeways printed exactly what I sent them. I don't know were 22mm came from in my head. :|
