I worked on this painting during a colored pencil class this week, I was very worried about the white buttons until I added the carpet in the background. My mother left me a big tin of old buttons, and since I don't sew, I thought making a series of pictures might honor her. I also like being different, since most of the other students were doing pictures of flowers or birds.
