Leptospermum scoparium - Manuka or Broom Teatree.

Leaves narrowly elliptical to almost circular, broadest near middle, 7-22mm long.

Narrow-leafed form of L. scoparium may be confused with L. continentale, which is a smaller, less leafy shrub, with leaves broadest near the base.

Spreading leaves, more than 3mm wide, almost flat.

Fruit ofter 8mm or more in dia.

 

Leptospermum continentale - Prickly Teatree.

Leaves narrowly ovate, 5-13mm long, broadest near base.

Floral tube glabrous.

Spreading leaves, 3mm wide, short flat incurved from margins.

Fruit 7mm or less in dia.

 

Leptospermum juniperinum

Erect leaves, 2mm or less wide, almost flat.

Fruit less than 7mm dia.
