The church was rebuilt in the 14th Century by Archbishop Courtenay to become the “grandest Perpendicular church in England.” The church was completed in 1398 and externally has remained largely unchanged.

 

Seen on a trip to explore Maidstone, Kent.

 

Maidstone is the county town of Kent, England; 32 miles south-east of London. The River Medway runs through the centre of the town, linking it with Rochester and the Thames Estuary.
