Macro Monday, Redux, LEATHER
Official Baseball caught at a Detroit TIger's game in Comerica Park, Detroit, Michigan.
Well, it actually wasn't caught by anybody. You see, I was sitting in my seat in shallow left field when a foul ball came flying toward our section. I ducked and covered my head as the people around me raised their hands and mitts (yes, people bring baseball gloves to the ball park, but not me) to catch the ball. We all heard the ball hit the concrete around us with a thud and then people started shouting, "where is it? do you see it?, whose got the ball?" At that point, I looked down between the seat next to me and there it was! I picked it up and said, "I got it!"
It was a pretty big thrill and we talked about it the rest of the day.
