Desert Nomad
In the desert wasteland, everything is scarce, and uninhabitable. Only the desert nomads dare to live there, salvaging scrap, building weapons, and surviving the harsh terrain. Their excellent skills in fashioning dangerous weaponry such as the energy staff and the toxic gauntlet help them fend off enemies as they move from place to place in the rough terrain.
Hope you like this one guys, as it took several months before it was finally completed a few weeks ago.
The vest was made around the time Richard released information on how to make a vest out of credit card, and that's just what this vest is made of! I didn't have styrene to make the pouches, so i had to use wood instead =P The bandolier is from and old star wars action figure.
The face mask is actually very interesting: it used to be the faceplate for the episode II c3po action figure that I had, which was destroyed in the fire. However, the charred remains were found, and I used the faceplate, inserting bits of trans green plastic into the eyeholes. Then I attached it to the head via a custom strap made from rubber band.
The left arm was made by Pecovam, and I must say, I love painting Brick Affliction! It was very fun painting it, Andrew, thank you for the arm. The hand was sculpted by me.
The legs have those TLG handheld claw weapons that were first seen in prince of Persia sets, I thought they made good leg armor =P
The staff was actually partly inspired by Shilo, After I found out from him that Playmobil's weapons work with Lego. So I bought myself a spear and chopped it up, and added various bits.
The hood I sculpted from green stuff.
Anyways guys, I hope you like this fig, I put a lot of time and effort into it and I hope to get some positive feedback =)
