University Hall

Standing on top of the Pokfulam hill, this building originally called Douglas Castle, dates back to 1861 when a wealthy Scottish trader named Douglas Lapraik built it as place of his residence. Architected in English Tudor style, the facade has an abundance of flamboyant flame-like windows.

In 1894, during the bubonic plague, the castle was sold to the French Mission which used the building as a monastery and gave it a new name of Nazareth.

In 1954, the building was transferred to the University of Hong Kong. University Hall, commonly known in short as UHall, has since been a dormitory for 108 university male students.......Wikipedia
