This bike sort of teeters on the edge of old-school/new-school: a steel frame/fork with lugs n' crown (Reynolds 531c), DT shifters and single-pivot brakes, BUT (1) those s-p brakes, with their titanium bits, are darlings of the weight-weenie set, (2), the drivetrain, a Shimano Ultegra 9-speed setup, isn't quite old-school, and (3), those Ritchey aero rims...well, they might be conservative compared to, say, some current mega-aero thing from the usual suspects, but they're pretty swoopy stuff to me.
