El Matador
I was just finishing up a high speed shot in the garage and stepped out to check out the clouds.
The sky looked promising, very un-settled with a mix of high and low stuff.
So I jumped in the car and drove down to El matador Beach, about 40 minutes away.
The sunset never really got going during the later stages but the early stuff looked good. I have learned to take off my UV filter when shooting into the sun, so the number of reflection spots that I had to clean up was manageable.
A three stop ND grad was used. I ducked behind the left pinnacle to mask the sun for this shot.
It's fun dancing in the surf, but it's always great to get home and dump out the sand from everything. Now I gotta clean out the tripod.
Cheers.
