More techie crap. I like it sometimes.
I'm using my softbox on the flash to get a more uniform illumination.
So this is a glass disk about 4mm thick in cross polarized light. My timing was late, so the shock wave has bounced off the edges and gotten all crazy.
You can see that the pellet (to the left) has damaged a lot of glass and cracks are all over the place.
If you like it, ask questions.
If not, move on.
