Many Colors, Too Fast

Tried some shooting with the gold colored fast ammo. Never got the timing right.

 

On one hand I am impressed by the high speed users who use great electronics to measure the pellet speed and predict the actual location of the pellet. My setup does not do this.

 

On the other hand, I'm not sure how useful the information is. When the pellet enters the target, all velocity/distance predictions just go away. Unless you have a PhD in fluid dynamics and a week of processing time, you don't know how much the target medium is going to slow the pellet.

 

So I do what I do, guess and try a few times. Usually can get in in less than three tries.
