Lithium Vent
Some time ago I put some lithium coin cells in the flame of a torch and filmed them exploding in slow motion. Today I tried some much larger cells, CR123 batteries. Th events on these cells work very well, releasing the pressure and keeping the cell from exploding. The burning lithium can give some nice fountains of flaming metal.
I had a good bike ride today, went the Camarillo/Moorpark ride. The marine layer has moved back in and the morning was cool and drizzly, perfect biking weather.
