Failed Hair Spray
I tried this shot yesterday to see if I could get a better video of an earlier shot. It failed in a pretty funny way which you can see if you watch the video. I obviously have some dynamic range issues. At least this time it wasn't as scary as the first since I used metal wire to tie down the spray can. It wasn't going to get away. I also shot it from twice the distance and even manged to hit the can dead center. I'm not an experienced shooter so it's pure luck.
I found out today that Flickr is putting ads up in users photo-streams without their knowledge. It's not good news. I would like to know if anyone sees ads in my photostream.
I'm going to have to examine what I should do if this is happening. On the one hand I enjoy posting my pictures here and getting some attention. On the other hand if Flickr is using those pictures to help them make money and charging me to show them here, that is a pretty sweet deal from their perspective and pretty poor ethics from my view.
If anyone wants to educate me about this new practice it would be good.
Cheers.
