Lock No. 1 (William R. Randell Lock) (1922)

Located at Blanchetown. This was the first of thirteen locks built on the River Murray to control the flow of water down to the mouth at Goolwa.

It was named after William R. Randell, who was a steam paddleboat captain in the pioneer days of the region.
