One of the comments consistently made by Rocky, the South Sudanese trainer, and Dr. Legassi, the Ethiopian who ran the farm where we held the training, was how rare it was to have south Sudanese youths from different tribes (Dinka, Nuer, Murle) talking and working together ... inter-tribal conflict being so bad in most parts of the country that the different groups rarely interact, unless it's to raid each other's cattle or shoot at each other.
