Harlem and Brooklyn, 2018 digital double exposure

Accidental double exposure. My PS macro action had a logic error that copied one photograph to another. I was playing with color & monochrome screens to boost micro contrast and here we are.

A very peculiar camera, the Nikon Coolpix 5000. It used a CYGM array instead of RGBG. The result has more film like color, and the luminance has less noise than one would think for a camera from 2002. It was the only commercially available 2/3” CYGM, the others were smaller.

Battery is terrible. Speed limit is Slower than a Foveon. Viewfinder images are best for inspecting blowout. But all of this forces you to think like a film shooter.

I was thinking of selling it until I came across some old shots of what it can do. It stays.
