Olympus digital camera

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CAMERA! I got it as a 35th birthday present to myself. The M. Zuiko 14-35mm is magic. It has no vignetting wide open, and gives that '3D pop' that all those 'micro contrast' afficionados are looking for. I could tell people this is a low-element prime lens, and they'd say 'yeah, they don't make them like they used to!'

-The depth of field of the 14-35mm F2 on a four thirds sensor is the same depth of field on a 28-70mm F4.

-The light-gathering at F2.0 is still F2.0, four times that of F4,

BUT

-the noise of a sensor per square inch is constant, meaning a sensor the quarter this size has four times the noise. ISO 100 on MFT is similar to ISO 400 on my full frame.

In situations where I would be at ISO 400 at Full frame F4, I can still be at ISO 100 Four thirds.

Also,

This is a cool-running sensor. I didn't believe the UniWB I obtained until I bought Rawdigger. The Blue channel is almost a full EV higher than a lot of other sensors I've used. This gives me gradations I'm looking for.

Also, Je Ne Sais Quoi. And Tiffen Ultra Contrast 3. I almost never shoot without one anymore.
