Gracing Tomb. Senna auriculata, Tanner's Cassia, and the Bibi-ka-Maqbara, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, India

Well, it used to be called Aurangabad but now goes by the spelling-twister Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Lots to see here but most of all the so-called Bibi-ka-Maqbara. It's often called the Deccan Taj in comparison to the well-known Taj Mahal. The impressive tomb was built by a Mughal prince in memory of his mother Begum Rabi'a Daurani. Regrettably it's in bad repair. I'd rather expected more dazzling white. Still the beauty and symmetry of the building is amazing. In the area there are lots of Tanner's Cassia, the bark of which is used to tan hides to leather for which India is famous.
