Really Yellow. Oenothera biennis, Common Evening Primrose, and Tiger Hoverfly, Helophilus pendulus, Driemond, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The village of Driemond (= three mouths) takes its name from three small rivers that meet here to flow into the IJsselmeer: 't Gein, the Gaasp and the Smal Weesp. It's all a scenic area, and there are fields and pastures adjoining the Gaasperplaspark.
Meandering through one of those fields I saw this really yellow evening primrose being visited by a Tiger Hoverfly collecting pollen.
