Light and Shadow. Tulipa 'Inner Wheel', Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
'No! no!' cried out Sammy and Olymp in unison. 'No, not another Tulip photo!' Said Sammy sotto voce: 'Master's not really into lurid colours'; 'nor does he actually like tulips', quipped in Olymp. But this one caught Master's fancy and I insisted. Meekly Sammy submitted 'but please wipe my dusty lense first so I can see clearly'. That I did, and Sammy was pleased with the result as was the Clicker and also but grudgingly Olymp.
This is a variety of the so-called Rembrandt Tulip, named for its play of shadow and light. It's called 'Inner Wheel'.
Well, perhaps I'l post one more Tulip later just a bit more interesting. Depends on my inspirations...
