Spring Lover. Erophila verna, Whitlow Grass, Venlo, The Netherlands

It's only the very end of February, but Spring seems already to be in full flower. Here's a Spring Lover - as the 'Erophila' signifies. In Dutch it's called 'Vroegeling' (= more or less: early born). It's a wee flower only a couple of mm across, but if you've an eye for it, you'll see it everwhere in the just greening fields and along footpaths.
