Princely Blue. Geranium 'Johnson's Blue', Prinsentuin, Groningen, The Netherlands

Often we walked in Groningen's lovely Prinsentuin - adorned by rosebeds and berceaux - under the now felled Chestnut Tree with its 'albino' patch.

Even in Winter many of those beds are edged with pretty blue Cranesbills.

Today I walked alone in chilly Autumn.
