It's quite barren if you look at it superficially but on closer examination there's lots to see on Hound's Snout above La Caleta.

Here in the bright sunshine Olymp caught two differently colored Canary Saltworts, Salsola divaricata. They're quite resistant to briny conditions. Perhaps they even thrive on them much as holdiay makers...

In the right-hand photo there's a fuzzy outline of La Gomera.
