One of these days I may post a photo of my visit to the Rumah Sakit Panti Rapih (= Healing Hospital) formerly called 'Onder de Bogen' (= Under the Arches). It was one of the many projects funded by the Catholic Schmutzer family of Ganjuran, not far from Yogyakarta in the late 1920s...
But today I ambled onward to the pretty green campus of the Gadjah Mada University, established in 1949 after Indonesian independence. Lots of insects of various sorts all around, but I was especially enchanted by this beautiful dragonfly flitting about the Agaves in a border garden. It's well-known Orthetrum sabina, a Green Marsh Hawk.
