Sunny Licking. Calliphora vicina, Bluebottle Fly, on Mediterranean Spurge, Euphorbia characias, Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Quite chilly but Sunny, today. Almost Spring in the Garden by the looks of it. Mediterranean Spurge, Euphorbia characias, began to flower about a week ago, and it's yielding sweetness. Here's a Bluebottle Fly, I think more specifically Calliphora vicina, enjoying some good licks even though the temperature is not much above 8 C.
