Green Brunch. Young Jumping Spider and a Katydid Nymph, Tanjung Mangsit, Lombok, Indonesia

Yes indeed, it's Hers, that Katydid Nymph is. I can attest to that because as I sat in the shade of a Coconut Palm Tree near this clump of Stachytarpheta indica, Snakeweed, she Pounced as a Jumping Spider will do. I'd been a while watching my Little Green Friend sitting quite calmy on the leaf that became its Bed of Agony. I, too, was startled by that Jump of perhaps 25 cm. Jumper then dragged her catch into the shade of the Snakeweed leaf from whence she'd come forth.

Early morning Monsoon Rain had lifted but there was still a drop or two - there's one behind her left shoulder - that hadn't been dried away by the Sun. So it must've been Brunchtime.
