Historic Buffalo, New York Snowstorm

Its that time of the year! Where tornado chasing comes to an end, and we shift our attention to Winter. This would be the most intense snowstorm I have ever witness and chased.

I decided to bite the bullet and head to just South of Buffalo, New York where they were expecting 2-3ft of lake effect snow. Once I arrived at around 4am nearly a foot of snow had already fallen and it continued to fall with rates of 4-6in an hour! These are a series of images that I collected of the chaos. We left around 2pm after being stuck for about an hour and all of our available roads were clogged by trapped motorist, and large amounts of snow. Where we were ended up getting 60in of snow!
