Legnano restoration
Larry Lockwood of Missoula MT has just finished a restoration of my father’s 1961 Legnano, the bike he rode on the first TOSRV (Tour of the Scioto River Valley) ride in July 1962. Various details were tended to, including an installation of a period correct 14-26 Regina freewheel, replacing the 14-36 Suntour Perfect that my dad had used in his last years on the bike. The bike will go back on display next to Hemistour and Bikecentennial machines at Adventure Cycling Association’s headquarters. (photo provided by June Siple).
