Headed east on Ridge Road
I did another 46 miles in a bid to get ahead of schedule for a 1000 mile month. About a 17 mile advantage with 5 days left to go. Today’s challenge was 18 mph winds out of the NW…on top of saddle discomfort. I encountered one cyclist who passed me at breath taking speed (I really suspect an e-bike) who didn’t even turn his head to acknowledge me. In the 60s my dad would stop the family car to interrogate any cyclist we spotted. Seeing a cyclist on a real bike was like spotting an Ivory-Billed Woodpecker!
