Alvin Proportional Dividers

One of my father's drafting instruments. He had wrapped a note around the case: "Doug, proportional dividers, no longer so useful since the repro machines can enlarge and reduce. These look old but are not. Essentially they do not wear out. They can be shined and the mech. should be oiled."
