the hobo year.

i enjoy seeing the furniture of my childhood in these pictures:
the black & white television.
the hans wegner rocking chair that we were rocked in, and that our own two boys were rocked in, as babies. (it's in very poor condition right now, slated for refinishing soon)
the little blue chair that my mom painted when she took a rosemaling class in the early 1970s. she still uses that chair as a stepstool today.
