E is old enough to mow now, and R has been bumped up to the weed whacker.
For now, though, the job is up to Montana & Buttons.
It's nice to have them so close by, right here in our daily world.
It occurred to me last night, on the way in from the coop, that maybe I could come to understand them better if I start out by thinking of them as big kitty cats; they want attention, yet only under their own terms.
