The laying hens and their roosters live in the coop next door to the sheep. lately they've spent many days locked up inside, so that they can't harass the ewes and their new lambs. They like to 'clean up' after the birthing process which might be fine if they were only a handful, but 63 chickens might be a little over whelming.
