if winter won't come to you...
5 hours on the mountain (my first day of the season),
then,
2 hours (not contiguous) driving with heat blasting straight at face and feet,
an hour and a half of yoga - wearing wool socks
(and wool hat and blanket for the lie-down part at the end, whatever that is called)
cheese & crackers with Jubelale in front of well-stocked wood stove,
long snuggle with sleeping man and book under weighty down comforter, quilt, and sleeping cat.
Nearly 8 hours since the last run of the day,
I AM STILL COLD.
Into the bath and then straight to bed.
I'm so going to pay for this, especially the day after tomorrow.
It always hurts more the second day out.
