these chicks weren't supposed to arrive until NEXT friday. whoops!
these 114 arrived the very day the boys & i caught the train to seattle for the week. while i frantically tied up loose ends and packed, the boys job was to make sure each of them got water and a bite of feed. C is caring for them and all the other animals, with some help from the neighbors, while we're away.
