yes, my hands are this dirty throughout spring and summer.

 

getting them presentably clean requires a long soak in the tub, hard scrubbing with a brush and pumice stone, followed by a bleaching soak in fresh-squeezed lemon juice -bottled concentrate doesn't work.

 

the cleaning is harder on the hands than all that drying dirt, so i don't do it often.
