the boys are back.
the day before their return I got off work early and so treated myself to a short walk alone to a little lake I've not been to in years, not since pushing one in a stroller and carrying one in a backpack.
after only one week, transitioning back into the role of mom is proving rockier than i might have hoped for.
getting too little sleep and having relativesshowing up here today who've never been here before, with the house still more of a disaster than it ought to be, isn't really helping.
i guess they'll just have to see the real us.
