Squirrel Stash
Coming across these always gives me a little thrill.
Apparently the squirrels pick mushrooms and dry them up in the tree branches.
It's said that the height they are in the tree is an indication of how much snow there will be the following winter.
This one was at my eye level, about 5 feet and a few inches off the ground.
