Cottonwood Catkin-dyed yarn

Knitpicks Bare Laceweight. Previously dyed with leftover Lombardy Poplar catkin dyebath. Overdyed with cottonwood catkin dyebath. Pre-mordanted with alum.

This yarn looks quite different in different lights, sometimes greener, sometimes more yellow.

I haven't yet tested for lightfastness, but it likey rather fugitive to light.
