an epic huckleberry year

UNBELIEVABLE, the size and quantity of berries up there in the mountains!

 

problem: no room in the freezers due to to much meat, lard, and last year's berries (hedging against the lean berry years).

 

solution: pies, muffins, pancakes, jam, and a batch of huckleberry mead.
