spring break. day 1

part one: he heads out in truck to deliver beer & set up for brewfest.

 

part two: insane crazed packing of car/house cleaning/barn chores/laundry/dishes/tying up of loose ends/ departure.

 

part three: one hour drive/search for an air hose for very low tire/pizza slices to-go in the car on the drive up to the mountain.

 

part four: check in at winter brewfest / snowbus fundraiser.

 

part five: ski a few runs with the boys and their friends. "free the heel and free the mind." their idea of a warm-up run was connie's coulee, oh my.

 

part six: attend brewfest & watch dummy derby, then pack up.

 

part seven: dinner out, at the base of the ski hill, with sis-in-law and nephews.

 

part eight: check into hotel, he washes out beer gear and lines in the shower, a short stint in the hot tub, wind skein into ball of yarn while watching harry potter marathon, avert migraine with several glasses of water, fall fast asleep.

 

part nine: sleep for what seems a short while, wake to folks in the next room partying deep into the middle of the night.
