post shearing

these three have hardly ventured from the barn and barnyard for months.

then, just after shearing, they snuck out and wandered over to the house during dinner.

maybe they were looking for their fleeces, wanted to come in and warm themselves by the woodstove, or were hoping to crawl in bed under a down comforter and pile of quilts?
