Arraiolos is a village located in the Portuguese district of Évora, Alentejo region and subregion of Central Alentejo, with about 3380 inhabitants.
It is the seat of a municipality with 684.08 km ² and 7,363 inhabitants, divided into seven parishes. The city is bordered to the north by the municipalities of Mora and Sousel, east by Estremoz, south of Évora, the southwest by Montemor-o-Novo and west by Coruche.
Arraiolos has many sights of all kinds. With respect to aspects Historical and Cultural stands Arraiolos Castle, one of the few castles round the World, the Inn of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Mother Church and the Church of Mercy and the Church of Arraiolos Vimieiro, the Chapel of St John's Field, Santana do Campo, where the Bride Palaácio Arraiolos and the Palace of the Counts of Vimieiro, Vimieiro, highlighting also the pillory Arraiolos and the whole town. In the landscape of highlight, among many, and the Bayou Divor Palo Valley Zone, a zone of Rio Divor accessible through Ecotrail Arraiolos.

To highlight the Arraiolos carpets, with centuries of history, hand embroidery by generations of needlework, crafts are part of Portugal's best known and is being prepared to stand for Heritage.
The County is also rich in Cork, so that articles of cork are also part of the Local Craft. Also noteworthy is the Articles Clay.

É sede de um município com 684,08 km² de área e 7363 habitantes, subdividido em 7 freguesias. O município é limitado a norte pelos municípios de Mora e Sousel, a leste por Estremoz, a sul por Évora, a sudoeste por Montemor-o-Novo e a noroeste por Coruche.
Arraiolos possui muitos locais de interesse dos mais variados tipos. No que toca a aspectos Histórico-Culturais destaca-se o Castelo de Arraiolos, um dos únicos castelos circulares do Mundo, a Pousada de Nossa Senhora da Assunção, a Igreja Matriz e a Igreja da Misericórdia de Arraiolos e a Igreja Matriz de Vimieiro, a Ermida de São João do Campo, Santana do Campo, o Palaácio da Sempre Noiva de Arraiolos e o Palácio dos Condes de Vimieiro, Vimieiro, de destacar também o Pelourinho de Arraiolos e todo o centro histórico. No património Paisagistico de destacar, entre várias, a Albufeira do Divor e a Zona de Vale de Paio, zona de passagem do Rio Divor, acessível através Ecopista de Arraiolos.

De destacar os Tapetes de Arraiolos, com séculos de história, bordados à mão por gerações e gerações de bordadeira, fazem parte do artesanato mais conhecido de Portugal, estando a ser preparada a sua candidatura a Património Da Humanidade.
O Concelho também é rico em Montado, pelo que artigos em cortiça também fazem parte do Artesanato Local. Destaca-se também os Artigos em Barro.
