'Wanderlust'
To wander...what an amazing concept. To wander revolves around the concept of casually walking with no intention, no destination, no particular direction in mind. It is to take what you need, the necessities and then...to leave. It is to travel rather than to settle. It is the aspiration to see things, new and fresh things. To see the sky and to wonder what's on the other side. To tell the time by the Sun, to witness life to the full, to go back to basics. It is to walk in a field with your arms out and your face to the sky. It is ice cold water and a cliff to jump from. It's wanting...purely needing. A wanderer has a burning desire for experience and cannot, will not, sit comfortably in the ordinary, the mundane. You see, the yearning to wander comes when the regular wanes and becomes a chain holding you down. Therefore we begin to seek the innovative and the exciting, the different and the dangerous and when we do so, when we reach these destinations, we must ensure we take each moment as it comes, embracing it with all we are and rejoicing within it. But does wandering always have to be physical, can we not wander in our minds? Dream of faraway places, letting our imaginations be our maps? Regardless, to wander seems like an awfully big adventure.
